What the numbers show
Persons outside the labour force (ILO modelled estimates) (15+) is currently reported for 188 countries. The highest value is 504,987 in India; the lowest is 25.67 in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The median across all reporting countries is 2,938, and the mean is 13,382.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 19,669.
Over the past decade 162 countries rose and 26 fell. The largest increase was in Burkina Faso (up 90.5%), and the largest decrease in Bolivia, Plurinational State of (down 20.4%).
