What the numbers show
LU3: Combined rate of unemployment and potential labour force (current ILO definition - ICLS19) (15+) is currently reported for 63 countries. The highest value is 42.95 in Zimbabwe; the lowest is 2.31 in Vietnam.
The median across all reporting countries is 8.52, and the mean is 11.04.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 19.
Over the past decade 11 countries rose and 47 fell. The largest increase was in Cambodia (up 86.0%), and the largest decrease in Croatia (down 70.8%).
