What the numbers show
Ratio of total weekly hours worked to population aged 15-64 (ILO modelled estimates) is currently reported for 189 countries. The highest value is 41.97 in Cambodia; the lowest is 6.66 in Yemen.
The median across all reporting countries is 25.52, and the mean is 25.35.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 6.
Over the past decade 121 countries rose and 67 fell. The largest increase was in Uganda (up 43.1%), and the largest decrease in Afghanistan (down 27.8%).
