What the numbers show
Africa's Development Dynamics (AfDD) Table 32 - Employment by occupation — Workers in public administration, defence and social security is currently reported for 161 countries. The highest value is 136,038 Persons in World outside Africa; the lowest is 1.12 Persons in Guinea-Bissau.
The median across all reporting countries is 173.92 Persons, and the mean is 2,121 Persons.
Over the past decade 126 countries rose and 35 fell. The largest increase was in Sierra Leone (up 652.2%), and the largest decrease in Suriname (down 53.7%).
